Caffe Affogato is a coffee shop that I have created based on a set of coffee icons for a poster. The brands identity was inspired by the caffe affogato icon, which is a scoop of ice cream with an espresso shot poured on top. This drink, or dessert if you will, combines the perfect amount of bitter and sweet that leaves you with a warm and comforting feeling. Thus, the warm, aromatic browns with accents of a deep, cool blue color palette. The friendly and inviting illustrations take on natural, yet defined shapes as they communicate their sense of flavor and warmth. Caffe Affogato welcomes everyone from teens to late sixties to come enjoy a cup of coffee while being social or simply enjoying your surroundings.
